Chicago!
On Saturday my lady and I headed to Chicago to see Dan Andriano of Alkaline Trio play a solo show as the Emergency Room with Dave Hause of the Loved Ones and the band Elway from Colorado. Before the show we stopped to eat at my all time favorite restaurant.

After all of this amazingness we made our way to the Bottom Lounge to catch the show. Elway opened and was wonderfully energetic and loud, which is surprising being as they were opening for two acoustic acts. Dave Hause was up next and did a great job. His stage banter was probably the best I have ever seen. Finally Dan took the stage and as usual it was amazing.
This was the only halfway decent photo I was able to get due to the weird lighting during his set.
Dan closed the set with “From this oil can”, it is such a beautiful song and the perfect end to a wonderful day in one of my favorite cities.
